Free Custom Meat Cutting in Oklahoma City: How It Works

At Halal Mart in Oklahoma City, you pay for the meat you select; custom cutting is included at no extra charge. Choose Zabiha Halal beef, lamb, goat or chicken from our counter, then speak with our butcher about how you would like it prepared.

1. Choose your meat

Start with the meal you want to make. Tell the butcher whether you are preparing biryani, karahi, a barbecue or a slow-cooked dish. Choose from the meat and cuts available at the counter; common cuts are also ready-packed in our cooler.

2. Explain the cut

Describe the quantity, piece size, thickness and bone preference you need. Bring a recipe or photo if it helps. For example: “Please cut this goat shoulder into small bone-in pieces for karahi.” The butcher can explain what is possible for your selected cut.

3. Review your order

Agree on the preparation before cutting begins, then check the finished order with the butcher. If you find a preparation you like, remember the cut and piece size so you can describe it on your next visit.

Is custom meat cutting free?

Yes. There is no additional cutting fee for meat you buy at Halal Mart. You pay for your selected meat, and custom cutting is included.

Do I need an appointment?

No appointment is needed to visit our meat counter. For a particular item or larger quantity, call (405) 948-0908 ahead of your visit to ask about availability.

Can I place a custom-cut order by phone?
